Gunnislake Amateur Dramatics are pleased to announce that the audition for their next production

THE VAMPIRE

Will take place at St. Anne’s Church Hall on Thursday 23rd July 2015, starting at 7.30.

The Vampire is a comedy. Count Dracula and his entourage are on the run from determined Vampire hunters, chased across Europe and heading for London (the capital of evil) they are washed up on the Cornwall coast. Chance leads them to a local village disco, where, as it is Halloween, the annual Vampires and Werewolves bash is in full swing and the stage is set for misunderstandings galore!

It is intended that the play will run for three evening performances Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st October, and that rehearsals will be two days a week starting on 1st September. Performers with speaking parts should expect to be required on most reharsal dates.

Igor – A ‘hunchback’ –Male, any age Captain – A ghostly sea captain –Male, any age Count Dracula - A Vampire –Male, any age Quincy/Queenie P Morris the fourth, Vampire hunter–Male or Female, any age Dr. Evan Seward, Vampire hunter–Male, any age Marcus/Mary Holmwood , Vampire hunter–Male/Female , any age Conan Van Helston, Vampire hunter–Male, any age Lucy Westenra – a local woman in her twenties Mina Murray – a local woman in her twenties Johnnie Harker – a local man in his twenties Renfield – a lunatic–Male, any age Akeldama,} Narkissa, } Vampire sisters –Female, any age Thana } DJ – Voice only – Any age Billy Salter – Local man in his twenties Disco Guests } Non-speaking - Any age, any gender Ghostly sea crew } Non-speaking - Any age, any gender
