Audition for Trapped

GLAD are pleased to announce that there will be open auditions on 27th April ‘16 at 7.30pm in the back room of the Buccaneer Inn for their next production -

TRAPPED!

A dramatisation about the two local miners, John Rule and William Bant, who were entombed in Drakewalls Mine in 1889.

The performance dates will be 14th - 16th July ‘16 and we are looking to cast for the following roles:

Women:

Men:

Henry Davis (miner)

Moses Bawden (mine manager)

William Tucker (miner)

John Rule (miner)

William Bant (miner)

Thomas Chapman (pitman)

Archibald Pinching (inspector)

Reverend Standfast

Police Constable

Henry Rodda (mine agent)

Miles Cavendish (reporter)

Some doubling of roles is possible. Rehearsals are expected to start 17th May.
