1. Present and Apologies

Apologies: Carol B., Richard,

Present: Lesley, Jean, Colin, Ross, Mike, Jackie, Critter, Phil, Carol, Helen, Sue

The committee noted that Carol B. will no longer be able come to committee meetings but will remain a member of the committee until the next AGM.

2. Approval of minutes of Committee Meeting of 24 October 2017

Approved and signed by Lesley.

Action: Now ready to be published on website (H B)

3. Matters arising from Committee Meeting of 24 October 2017 (not covered in agenda items)

-Facebook page draft description (HB). Agenda item for next meeting.

-Safeguarding Policy priority agenda item for January meeting. Agenda item for next meeting.

4. Panto Update

-Ted has taken on role as Musical Director – CD of backing tracks distributed, song word packs available, liaising with Polly (accordion) and Charmaine (keyboard).

-School hall is booked for setting up and performances(15, 16 17 Feb – Evening performances 7:30, Saturday matinee 2:30). Awaiting costings from school.

-All scenes will have been rehearsed by end ofNovember. December scenes will be run together. After Christmas Tuesday rehearsals will be Act 1 and Thursday rehearsals will be Act 2.

-Lynda is heading costume team and these will be attending Thursday rehearsals with costumes

-Props are underway and scenery will be started after Christmas

-Ticket sales to begin straight after christmas. Agenda item for next meeting.

-Front of house people in place. Action: Lesley to contact Kay to run raffle.

- Meetings have been held with Antony. Quote of £1040 includes lights, PA etc. Set erection wil be Sat 10 Feb . Help needed. Agenda item for next meeting.

5. Membership

- Fees now in from all people engaged in panto.

- FB members will now be targetted.

6. Finance

Report shared with meeting.

7. CACF update

-Sue, Frank and Lesey have completed report

- Involvement of Youth Group seen as a success

8. Christmas 'do'

-Post panto party to replace Christmas party

-Suggestion of a meal at Engine House approx one week after end of Panto.

9. Mary's glass

- Mary very pleasedwith commemorative glass.(Funded by Committee members)
