Present and Apologies

Approval of minutes of Committee Meeting of 06 September 2018
Minutes agreed, signed and ready for publication.
Matters arising from Committee Meeting of 06 September (not covered in agenda items)
Both Helen and Wallace circumstances have changed and they have both had to resign from the committee but would like to still be informed of future productions. The committee expressed their thanks for their contributions in the past and wished them good luck for the future.
Youth Group - update
Schools have been contacted by email but currently no response has been received.
Posters are now ready and Phil will visit schools on Friday 19th with posters.
“Up the Valley” – valedictions – Michele
Events have overtaken this production.
Michelle was very pleased with the standard at the rehearsals and is happy to look at this production again at a future date (possibly for the Festival next year)
The committee thanked Michelle, Frank and Lesley for all their hard work in trying to facilitate this production.
Costumes – update
Lesley has thanked Parish Council for providing current storage.
Costumes will be moved Sunday 14 October to Village Hall. Meet at Albaston Chapel at 9:00. (weather permitting)
Action: Carol and Lesley let people know start time etc.
Finance
Current balance is £3,922.89
£10 has been paid to hall for hire and £17.99 for poster
Seven subs have been collected
8. Future projects
Community Poppy Commemorative event
Draft programme of readings, poems and songs has been produced
Ted has been asked to compere.
Entry will be by free ticket only (available from post office)
Run throughs are booked for 8 and15 November in Church Hall
2. Christmas tree festival
This is at St Anne's this year
Carol has sent in application form
Suggestion that Colin will produce A6 scroll templates which individuals can complete / decorate with name of favourite British playwright
Lesley to coordinate to avoid duplication of playwrights
3. Passport to Gunnislake
Auditions will take place in the New Year.
Frank is currently revisiting the script.
Xmas party thoughts
To be held in the backroom of the Bucc.
Bring a plate
Option for people to perform a turn if they want to.
